Modern Warfare 2 Tournament - Anyone think they can dominate in one of the most hyped games of the year in a free-for-all versus ALL interested residents!? If so, here is your chance to not only have fun but also win cold-hard cash for winning! The tournament will take place Saturday May 1st at 12PM. Ping Pong Tournament - Bracket sign up sheet is on the wall in the dining room. Sign up and schedule with your opponent. Best two out of three winner moves to the next bracket. First place $50. Second place $30 Third place $15. The date of the finals will be announced later.

Valentine Sweetheart Dinner - This year’s music will be provided by the Candlelight Classical Strings Quartet. Chef Rick is preparing a marinated citrus and rosemary char-baked chicken breast along with slow- roasted USDA choice prime rib. Lobster raviolis in a fontina cheese cream sauce will be one of the side dishes. Chocolate dipped strawberries will be one of the desserts. Tuesday February 9th 5 to 7 in the SG dining room.

Winter Wonderland Formal Dance - Christina 9RA and Carly 3RA will be hosting this year’s Winter Formal on Thursday, Jan 21st from 9 to 11 in the SG dining room. Come dressed in semi-formal or as “Dressy” as you want. Snacks, beverages, ambiance and of course Great Music.

Surf lessons - Interested in learning how to surf? Blake 6RA and Megan 11RA will be giving free surfing lessons at Morro Bay on Saturday October 10th to the first 10 girls and 10 guys who sign up at the desk in the Business Office. Sign ups begin on Monday October 5th. Wetsuits, boards and lunch are provided. You must know how to swim, be 18 or older and sign a liability release waiver. SG residents only - Guests are invited to watch.

Valentine Sweetheart Dinner - This year Chef Rick will be preparing slow roasted Prime Rib with fresh Rosemary Au Jus. Jumbo Shrimp with Assorted Dipping Sauces. Vegetarian Butternut Squash Raviolis with Browned Butter & Sage. A Mixed Green Salad with Caramelized Bleu Cheese, Candied Walnuts and Fresh Blueberries with Raspberry Champagne Vinaigrette. Chilled Garden Gazpacho Soup with Herbed Crostini. Garlic Cheddar Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes, French cut Green Beans with Crispy Sweet Onions and Sautéed Mushrooms. Dessert will be New York Cheesecake with Minted Fresh Berry Sauce and Chocolate Covered Strawberries. Dinner music will be provided by the Candlelight Classical Strings Trio. Thursday night February 12th.
